5th-Wheel Trailer Cake for Dad's 60th.

Here is a picture of the amazing 5th-wheel trailer cake that Rebecca, AJ, and Lisa made for Dad's 60th. birthday. It was delicious and so clever. Carrot Cake is dad's favorite! We used sparklers for candles. Mikey helped him "blow" them out.

Dad's 60th birthday!

Tonight we celebrated an early birthday dinner for dad. The big 60 is crazy. As we arrived home from Page last night, our sweet neighbor had filled the yard with balloons and signs saying "Happy Birthday." Dad was so tickled. Becca, with Lisa and AJ's help, made an amazing trailer/5th wheel cake. Wow. It was incredible! The candles were two sparklers. What a fun night. Dad and I will celebrate again on his actual birthday, but the celebration today was perfect. Mikey even wrote and sang "papa" a song. Thanks everybody.

Hello everyone. I have joined the ranks of the temporay disabled. On Tuesday of this week I had my knee replaced with 4 pounds of steel and titanium. So far very little pain. The doctor, nurses (Murses) told me to stay ahead of the pain by taking the meds befor you need them. Lynn is the greatest. She cares for my every need and cooks me the best meals. I will be layed up for about 8 weeks so...reading, family history and indexing is on the docket. Talk to you soon. Skip

Celebrating a Joyful Day

Tonight we celebrated Cambi's birthday (again :) Today during Relief Society Mikey and the Benson's little girl sang "I Am A Child of God." The lesson was on Growing a Testimony. Wow. It was just wonderful. Mikey sang out so beautifully. Hooray for Mikey!

We miss everybody. Grandpa has started doing indexing for the Church. It is so interesting. He is looking at names from other countries. The alphabet is very different in some parts of the world.

We love you. We'll be back soon. Love, Gran'pa and Gran'ma

Getting Started!

Hi! We decided it would be fun for grandkids, family, and friends to have a place to check out what we are up too. Today is Martin Luther King Day, so I get to be home from school. Unfortunately, Skip (Grandpa) has to work. Here is a picture taken a few weeks ago of the sunset in Arizona right from our front yard. It was so beautiful. The next picture is Grandpa and Grandma up in Logan with Lisa and Kevin. We are standing in front of the Logan Utah Temple. Dan and Becky were here for a short visit, so Granpa and I grabbed a few quick photos. Mikey was over to play with Gracie. Hazel was home taking a nap. Oma gave Hazel and Savannah matching dresses for Christmas. They both looked so beautiful! Jared, Mia ,and Sam, how are things going in Georgia? We sure hope Marmi is feeling better. Hi Bailey, Landon, and Devin. We sure miss you guys. I will work on making our blog a fun place for you to visit. We'll blog again soon.
